Kelly Hunt, MSW, RSW

A Registered Social Worker, Clinical Specialist and Perinatal Mental Health Certified, Kelly has dedicated her career to supporting and advocating for individuals living with psychosocial and physiological challenges. With fifteen years of experience in the healthcare field, Kelly has practiced within the areas of adult mental health, complex psychiatric illness, medical social work, major life transitions and trauma. She has a passion for working with individuals navigating their perinatal journey.
Kelly possesses a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Waterloo and an Honors Bachelor of Social Work degree from Lakehead University. She has specialized Perinatal Mental Health Certification, Maternal Mental Health Intensive: Perinatal Loss and Grief Certification, and Infertility, Pregnancy Loss & Reproductive Trauma training. Her practice has largely focused on supporting individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, grief and loss, and substance misuse disorders through the use of holistic, CBT, strength-based, client-centered approaches.
She recognizes and appreciates the transition to motherhood is not always easy. Her goal is to support each individual through their perinatal journey (pre-pregnancy to fourth trimester). I provide a respectful and comfortable atmosphere, where together we will work towards achieving your goals and optimal mental wellness.
